A few years ago, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The news came as a shock, and I was overwhelmed with anxiety. It felt like my world had collapsed. But as time passed and I took a step back, I realized that diabetes is not a death sentence. It is a condition that can be managed — and even improved — with the right mindset and lifestyle changes. I came to understand that diabetes is, above all, a way of life, one that requires constant attention to blood sugar levels and a commitment to health. But managing it doesn’t have to mean relying only on chemical medications. Let me share with you how I naturally stabilized my blood sugar and reclaimed my health — with a simple yet powerful folk remedy that has helped many, including myself.
This remedy is based on the medicinal plant Chelidonium majus, more commonly known as greater celandine. Here’s how to prepare and use it to regulate your blood sugar — safely and naturally.

At the end of spring, carefully dig up 18 to 20 bushes of celandine with their roots intact. Remove any dry or yellow leaves. Clean the roots thoroughly by scraping off anything unnecessary, and wash everything very well under running water.
Once cleaned, lay the plants out in the shade to dry. It’s important that they don’t dry under direct sunlight, as that may reduce their potency. When the celandine is fully dry, cut the plants into pieces approximately 2 centimeters in length. Then run the pieces through a meat grinder to crush them and extract the juice. Squeeze the mixture well to collect as much juice as possible.
Pour the extracted juice into a clean glass jar and store it in a dark place for 4 to 5 days. After that time, carefully pour the liquid into another clean jar, making sure not to transfer the sediment that has settled at the bottom. To preserve the tincture, add alcohol — 100 grams of alcohol for every 2 cups of juice. This creates a potent, natural medicine.
Take the tincture twice a day after meals. Mix it with a small amount of water. Begin with just 5 drops per dose. Increase the dosage by one drop per day until you reach 15 drops per serving.

If your body responds well to the treatment, you may increase the dosage up to 25 drops. After reaching the maximum dose, stop the treatment for one month to give your body a break. After the break, repeat the course. Follow the same routine — treatment, pause, treatment again.
Over the course of this process, your blood sugar levels should stabilize. In fact, after completing two cycles of this natural remedy, you may find that you don’t need further treatment for at least three months. Of course, after three months, it’s a good idea to get your blood sugar tested and consult with your healthcare provider to determine whether you need to continue treatment or not.
But that’s not the only natural way to support your body in managing diabetes. I also discovered a few more helpful folk methods that may be beneficial:
Try this simple corn remedy: Take 500 grams of corn kernels, wash them thoroughly, and boil them on low heat. Once fully cooked, divide them into four equal portions. Eat one portion four times a day. This natural method has helped regulate blood sugar for many people.

Another remedy that proved effective for me and others involves onions. Take 5 large onions, peel them, rinse well, and pour boiling water over them. Then chop them finely and lightly sauté with a bit of vegetable oil. You can eat this onion mixture as a side with your main meals throughout the day. This preparation not only helps regulate sugar but also supports digestion and overall metabolism.

All the components used in these traditional recipes are completely natural and do not pose any danger to human health when used responsibly. However, as with any treatment, even natural ones, I strongly recommend monitoring your body’s response and discussing it with a healthcare professional, especially if you’re already taking medication or have other health concerns.
My only goal is to help others improve their health and quality of life — just as I managed to do. Living with diabetes doesn’t have to mean a life full of fear or restrictions. With the right knowledge and dedication, it’s possible to live a full, balanced, and happy life.
I wish you health and well-being!
